This position is fully remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining adherence to our high standards of care. Contact with clients primarily occurs through secure telehealth platforms, enabling flexibility in scheduling and a focus on client comfort. • Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to track, document, and communicate each client’s progress toward therapeutic goals as outlined in the social work treatment plan.
• Attend and engage actively in scheduled team meetings to discuss case reviews, share insights, and enhance collaborative practice.
• Adhere to ethical codes and standards of practice outlined by the licensing board and Freedom Empowerment Counseling Services, ensuring high-quality and compliant care delivery.
• Follow all organizational policies and protocols diligently to maintain operational integrity.
• Maintain a regular work schedule as determined in collaboration with your supervisor, prioritizing responsibilities in a high-volume caseload setting.
• Fulfill all directives and guidance provided by supervisory staff, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Keep your Oregon driver’s license current to facilitate any local outreach or community engagement activities.
• Obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications to ensure readiness for any crisis situations.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple client cases.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to advance competencies required by licensing boards, ensuring adherence to evolving best practices.
• Provide informed assistance related to clients’ financial or social needs, connecting them with local resources as necessary.

Your primary focus will be on young individuals who may be facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work collaboratively with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that meet their unique needs and empower them to overcome barriers. An understanding of the diverse cultural backgrounds within the community in Medford and how these can impact mental health is crucial for this role.

• Must possess an independent license in Oregon, such as LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, confirming your eligibility to practice independently.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, clinical social work, counseling, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage high caseload volumes effectively is essential for maintaining service quality.
• Demonstrated passion for motivating clients and colleagues, fostering a positive work environment through enthusiasm and support.

• Experience in a community health clinic or similar setting is advantageous, providing insight into the challenges and needs of diverse populations.
• Prior engagement with telehealth platforms or virtual therapy methods is beneficial for facilitating remote counseling sessions.
• Experience with integrated care models that emphasize collaboration with other healthcare providers is a plus.
