• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients, developing individualized therapy strategies based on these findings.
• Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions that incorporate Evidence-Based Practices, including techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Engage with diverse populations, offering therapy to individuals, groups, and families that address various mental health challenges and personal circumstances.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create coordinated and holistic care plans that address both mental and physical health needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring timely documentation of patient interactions.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and trends through continual participation in workshops and professional training sessions.

Your work will involve assisting a wide range of clients, particularly those who face significant barriers to mental health care. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Through personalized therapy and compassionate understanding, you will help empower clients to navigate their challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, demonstrating skillful engagement with patients in a therapeutic context.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health services.
• Proficient in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and modern therapeutic technologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.

• Experience in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse counseling is highly preferred and will enhance your candidacy.
• Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teamwork will be advantageous, allowing for a more cohesive client care experience.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
