• Provide culturally sensitive and trauma-informed mental health services to clients of all ages, ensuring that all interactions are handled with the utmost respect for cultural and linguistic needs.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including clinical and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, and communicate with community resources such as schools, support groups, and healthcare providers.
• Utilize a client-centered approach to case management, which includes gathering and evaluating client information, identifying specific needs, and connecting clients and their families to appropriate resources and support services.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending staff meetings and contributing to program evaluations and training sessions to enhance service delivery.
• Meet billing and documentation requirements in alignment with agency standards, ensuring a smooth workflow while minimizing paperwork wherever possible.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and, when necessary, respond to after-hours calls as required by program needs, including the potential for obtaining LPS designation.
• Timely compliance with attendance and punctuality requirements to foster reliability in client care.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals and families experiencing varied mental health challenges. Our counselors are particularly focused on serving underrepresented communities, ensuring equitable access to mental health care. Your work will involve addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and various behavioral health disorders.

• Must possess a license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining compliance with relevant professional and ethical standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and an understanding of the unique challenges they face in accessing mental health services.
• Familiarity with community resources and the ability to effectively refer clients to services beyond the organization.
• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.

• Annual salary range of USD 120,000 – 130,000, commensurate with experience.
