Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney Location: Portland, Oregon Schedule: Remote | Full-Time Salary: $200,000-$400,000 Employment Type: Direct Hire Job Description: LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing plaintiff-side litigation firm seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to support the continued expansion of its practice in the Pacific Northwest. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned litigator who enjoys handling sophisticated, high-impact litigation while collaborating with an experienced team of attorneys across multiple offices. The position will be fully remote initially, with the expectation that it will transition to an in-office role in the Portland area as the firm's regional presence continues to grow. This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys working independently while helping build a long-term presence in an expanding market. The practice focuses on plaintiff-side wage and hour class action litigation, representing groups of employees in complex matters against regional and national employers. There are no billable hour requirements, allowing attorneys to focus on developing litigation strategy, advocating for clients, and achieving successful outcomes. Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage complex plaintiff-side wage and hour class action matters from inception through resolution
  • Develop overall litigation strategy and lead all phases of complex litigation
  • Draft and argue substantive motions in state and federal court
  • Lead all aspects of discovery, including written discovery, document review, and discovery strategy
  • Take and defend depositions, including key fact witnesses, corporate representatives, and experts
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and oral arguments
  • Work closely with attorneys across multiple offices on complex, high-profile litigation
  • Evaluate cases, identify legal risks and opportunities, and develop effective litigation strategies
Qualifications:
  • Active Oregon Bar license required
  • 8+ years of civil litigation experience
  • Significant experience managing complex litigation independently from inception through resolution
  • Extensive motion practice, discovery, deposition, and courtroom experience
  • Strong oral advocacy and persuasive legal writing skills
  • Experience handling high-exposure or complex commercial, employment, or class action litigation
  • Prior experience with wage and hour class actions or other complex plaintiff-side litigation is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
