You will serve as a strategic media lead for clients, guide planning and activation teams, and collaborate closely with account management, demand strategy, creative, analytics, and channel specialists to deliver integrated and effective campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive B2B media strategies that align with client marketing objectives, target audiences, and business goals

  • Translate broader marketing and demand-generation strategies into actionable, full-funnel media plans

  • Identify and evaluate media opportunities across programmatic, paid social, SEM, trade publications, outdoor, traditional media, and other relevant channels

  • Provide strategic direction throughout campaign planning, activation, optimization, and reporting

  • Ensure media plans are appropriately structured, measurable, and optimized to deliver against agreed-upon objectives

Campaign Execution and Optimization

  • Partner with channel specialists and activation teams to ensure campaigns are executed accurately and in alignment with the approved strategy

  • Support in-platform campaign management and optimization when required

  • Review campaign performance and use data and insights to identify optimization opportunities

  • Help establish campaign measurement frameworks, key performance indicators, and reporting approaches

  • Ensure learnings and performance insights are incorporated into future planning and recommendations

Client Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted media advisor to clients, providing clear, informed, and actionable recommendations

  • Lead or support client conversations related to media strategy, planning, campaign performance, and optimization

  • Present media plans, results, insights, and recommendations with clarity and confidence

  • Build a strong understanding of each client’s business, industry, audiences, and competitive landscape

  • Identify opportunities to expand or strengthen the agency’s media offering within existing client relationships

Vendor and Budget Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B media vendors and platform partners

  • Evaluate vendor capabilities, opportunities, and recommendations to ensure they align with client needs

  • Support media negotiations and work to secure appropriate rates, placements, and added value

  • Oversee media budgets and ensure investments are allocated and managed responsibly

  • Maintain awareness of new media partners, platforms, tools, and opportunities relevant to B2B audiences

Team Leadership and Collaboration

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and strategic direction to media team members

  • Review media plans and recommendations to ensure strategic quality, accuracy, and alignment

  • Support the professional development and growth of junior and mid-level team members

  • Foster strong collaboration across media, account management, demand strategy, creative, analytics, and other internal teams

  • Contribute to the continued evolution of Marketbridge’s media processes, tools, capabilities, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus

  • 8+ years of experience in media strategy, planning, and buying, preferably within an agency environment

  • Strong experience developing and executing media strategies for B2B clients

  • Demonstrated knowledge of B2B media channels, including programmatic, paid social, SEM, and trade publications

  • Experience working with The Trade Desk, DV360, or comparable programmatic platforms

  • Experience managing substantial media budgets and working with media vendors and platform partners

  • Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting media performance data and reporting

  • Experience leading client presentations and providing strategic media recommendations

  • Previous experience mentoring, managing, or providing direction to media professionals

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills

  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and quickly shifting priorities in a fast-paced agency environment

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to bring forward new ideas, challenge existing approaches, and work effectively across teams
