• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to establish therapeutic needs and measure progress, ensuring that each client receives individualized treatment.
• Provide therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focused on addressing relational dynamics and enhancing the emotional health of clients.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans with measurable objectives, regularly reviewing and adjusting the plans based on client feedback and progress.
• Actively contribute to our multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with other health professionals to create holistic treatment strategies that address all aspects of client care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation while minimizing administrative burdens, allowing you to focus on client care.

You will serve a diverse population in Oakland, California, which includes adults and adolescents dealing with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and your role will be critical in providing culturally competent care that recognizes and respects their unique experiences and challenges. The goal is to empower clients on their journey toward recovery and improve their quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current, valid license in good standing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including fulfilling pre-employment requirements such as tuberculosis screening, background checks, and drug screenings.

• Experience working with clients dealing with substance abuse and mental health disorders.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and management of client information.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches tailored to diverse populations.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is a plus.
