  • You will plan, develop, implement and maintain comprehensive process control programs of broad applicability designed to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Contractor processes, including specialized processes.
  • You will schedule, plan and conduct quality program audits of various contractor systems and processes.
  • You will plan and conduct contract reviews for determination of quality program requirements.
  • You will review the Contractor's procedures, practices, instructions and directives for contractor compliance, completeness, adequacy, correctness, practicality, and conflicts.
  • You will plan and conduct scheduled procedure evaluations for compliance and program operation adequacy.
  • You will prepare written reports, memoranda and correspondence detailing results of assignments.

Qualifications
For the GS-07 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with maintaining the quality of products or services in one of the following areas: quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production or other related areas.
For the GS-05 Grade Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting the quality of products or services in one of the following areas: quality assurance, procurement, inspection, production or other related area.

  • successful completion of a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position; -OR-
  • a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.

For the GS-05 Grade Level:
  • successful completion of a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position; -OR-
  • a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
