JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Executive role is designed for experienced transportation sales professionals who are ready to advance their skills in customer relationships successfully securing and building upon repeat business. This position offers the opportunity to significantly build upon and expand a portfolio of customers across various industries. Success in the role depends on cultivating strong relationships both within Trinity Logistics and with client organizations to ensure seamless business operations and account growth. A winning attitude and a proactive approach to driving sales growth are essential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Utilize provided tools to expertly prospect and expand your client base, ensuring an exceptional customer experience addressing intricate supply chain challenges.
  2. Forge enduring relationships with potential clients, establishing rapport built on trust and mutual understanding.
  3. Mastery of skills to attain monthly and quarterly revenue and profit targets.
  4. Continuously develop your knowledge of the company's sales philosophy and the industry to create new shipper customer relationships and expand business with existing accounts selling across multiple modes.
  5. Maintain meticulous records in the CRM, capturing all interactions and insights to drive meaningful engagements.
  6. Proactively anticipate and adeptly resolve potential customer issues, partner vendor concerns and internal team challenges.
  7. Leverage your advanced negotiation skills to strategically establish transactional and contractual rates with customers, fostering mutually beneficial outcomes that align with company objectives and customer needs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  2. Minimum of 1 year transportation or logistics sales experience required.
  3. A High School Diploma is required, bachelor's degree preferred.
  4. Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to craft grammatically correct business correspondence.
