ImagineX Consulting

$125K - $165K/yr

Full-time

Job description

ImagineX is a tech company that deploys AI-assisted teams to build and secure mission-critical enterprise solutions with our clients โ€“ spanning software, data, and AI. Structured like a software company, not a traditional consultancy, we blend deep technical expertise with authentic values, achieving world-class satisfaction (NPS 91). Our dedicated teams specialize in software, data, and AI across the U.S. and LATAM, bridging the gap between boutique agility and enterprise scale.

Weโ€™re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, AI/ML who combines a strong .NET engineering foundation with real, handsโ€‘on experience building AIโ€‘powered systems in production. This is not an โ€œAIโ€‘curiousโ€ role โ€” it requires someone who has shipped AI features, understands the constraints of realโ€‘world deployment, and can influence both technical and product direction.
This is a 100% remote full-time position.ย

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy AIโ€‘powered features and systems within a modern .NET environment.
  • Own technical direction for AI/ML components, including architecture, model integration, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and client stakeholders to shape the roadmap for AIโ€‘driven capabilities.
  • Evaluate and integrate LLMs, vector search, embeddings, and other modern AI techniques into production workflows.
  • Lead by example through highโ€‘quality code, strong engineering practices, and thoughtful technical decisionโ€‘making.
  • Drive experimentation, prototyping, and rapid iteration to validate AIโ€‘powered product ideas.
  • Ensure AI systems are reliable, observable, and maintainable in production environments.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Strong .NET engineering background with experience building production-grade systems.
  • Demonstrated experience shipping AI/ML features in production, not just experimentation or conceptual familiarity.
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, model APIs, vector databases, or ML pipelines.
  • Ability to influence architecture, product direction, and long-term technical strategy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in high-autonomy environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing, or consulting-style environments is a plus.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Azure AI, OpenAI, or other enterprise AI platforms.
  • Background in ML Ops, model evaluation, or production monitoring of AI systems.
  • Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, or cloud-native design.
  • Prior work on financial, payments, or risk-related systems.
Who Thrives Here
  • Engineers who want to own both the technical and product direction of AI features.
  • Builders who are excited to bring AI from concept to production reality.
  • Senior ICs who operate with autonomy and influence without needing formal authority.
  • People who want to work on high-impact, client-facing initiatives with real-world complexity.
