How can you make an impact?

McGraw Hill Education is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated ALEKS Specialist to join our Higher Education Sales Organization. Direct Sales Supervisor you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and increasing market share for Math and Chemistry disciplines. This field-based position focuses on closing high-potential, high-volume opportunities to contribute to market share growth and sales revenue.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. Candidates must live within CT, RI, MA, VT, NH or Upstate NY (Greater Poughkeepsie, Albany, Saratoga, and Binghamton areas).

What you will be doing:

  • Drive sales growth and expand market share for Math and Chemistry by collaborating with Learning Technology Representatives and executing regional sales strategies.
  • Develop and implement targeted plans for high-potential accounts in partnership with district and regional leadership teams to win new business, grow existing accounts, and retain market share.
  • Partner with Math and Chemistry product teams to launch successful campaigns, strengthen product positioning, build community engagement, and create future business opportunities.
  • Maintain deep market expertise in Math, Chemistry, and Placement disciplines, including McGraw-Hill products, competitor offerings, market trends, and customer behavior, while sharing field insights with product teams.
  • Support team development by working with the Direct Sales Supervisor to create training plans and providing coaching, mentorship, and ongoing feedback to Learning Technology Representatives.
  • Manage key accounts and lead regional events by identifying and prioritizing top accounts, fostering long-term partnerships, connecting with decision-makers, and strengthening relationships within the educational community.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor’s degree required for the role.
  • Four or more years of relevant experience in areas such as educational publishing, educational software sales, or corporate/educational training.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with employees and customers at all organizational levels.
  • Customer-focused problem-solving abilities with an innovative mindset and a commitment to delivering effective solutions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with proficiency in managing multiple priorities and responsibilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, with familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and webinar hosting platforms considered a plus.

The pay range for this position is between $71,300-90,000 annually.
