POSITION SPECIFICS

Penn State's interdisciplinary Center for Theory of Emergent Quantum Matter(C-TEQ), withinthe Institute for Computational and Data Sciences (ICDS) Quantum Hub,invites applications forseveral"C-TEQ Fellow"postdoctoral scholarpositions.Start dates are flexible but can beimmediate. Applicants are expected to have expertise in areas of quantum information, quantum materials, quantum computation, AI and other numerical tools for emergent quantum matter,quantum geometry, Majorana modes, fractionalquantumanomalous Hall effect, and related topics.C-TEQ Fellows will be part of a vibrant intellectual environment with many other C-TEQ Fellows andfaculty fromvarious departments(physics, math, computer science, materials science and engineering, EECS, Information Science and Technology, electrical engineering), including Profs. Zhen Bi, Long Qing Chen, Swaroop Ghosh, Vasant Honavar, Thomas Iadecola, Jainendra Jain,RibhuKaul, Xiantao Li, Chaoxing Liu, Vincent Meunier, Lukas Muechler, Marcos Rigol, Sarah Shandera, Abhinav Verma and Binghai Yan. C-TEQFellows will also benefit from access to advanced computational resources at the ICDS.

A Ph.D. is required by the start of the position.
