Job description

Apogee has an opportunity forย a Technical Consultant specializingย in Finance Support to provide contractor siteย reachback for the M-Code Aviation Receivers Joint Program Office (MAR JPO). This position providesย financial managementย expertiseย for studies and analysisย tasks,ย manpowerย analysis, and acquisition support.ย 

This is a full-time remote position with occasional travel to government sites.


Acquisition Financialย Support:

  • Provideย financial managementย expertiseย for acquisition planning
  • Develop cost estimates for programs and contracts
  • Support budget analysis and financial planning
  • Assist in financial aspects of acquisition strategiesย 

Manpowerย Analysis:

  • Conduct financial analysis forย manpowerย requirements
  • Support resource allocation and cost modeling
  • Develop cost estimates for workforce planning
  • Prepare financial comparisons and trade-off analysesย 

Financial Tracking &ย Reporting:

  • Maintainย financial data and tracking systems
  • Prepare financial status reports
  • Support Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development
  • Track and report on financial performanceย 

Programmaticย Support:

  • Support financial aspects of Studies & Analysis tasks
  • Assist in cost-benefit analyses
  • Provide financialย expertiseย for decision analysis
  • Support business case developmentย 

Costย Analysis:

  • Review financial aspects of proposals and modifications
  • Conduct cost reasonableness assessments
  • Support cost estimate development
  • Analyze funding requirements and availabilityย 

Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizenย 
Clearance:ย Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearanceย 
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Businessย Administration, or related field
Years of Experience: 5ย years of DoD financial management experience

Additional experience:

  • Knowledge of DoD financial management systems and processes
  • Understanding of acquisition cost estimating
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS cost principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in remote environment

Preferred Experience:

Education: Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Years of Experience:
