Job description

UWorld is looking for experienced MCAT experts and tutors based in the Dallas-Fort Worth a to develop instructional videos for students preparing to take the MCAT. This is an independent contractor position, where you will work with a team to create video content that accompanies UWorld's educational materials.
Minimum education required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have taken the MCAT with a competitive score

Minimum experience required
  • Experience tutoring MCAT level content including testing strategies and exam specific subjects.
  • Experience making instructional videos or lectures is highly preferred

Required skills
  • Must be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with the ability to come onsite for occasional video recording work
  • Strong on camera presence with the ability to teach difficult concepts in a fun and engaging manner
  • Passion for education and learning
  • Ability to communicate difficult concepts clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to think strategically and analytically and transform conceptual ideas into a visually appealing product

Compensation and benefits
  • Up to $50 per hour
  • This role will include a mix of remote prep and onsite recording work
  • Flexible schedule with an estimated time commitment of approximately 30 hours over the course of 1-2 months. Role as the potential to extend into additional project involvement.
