Job description

Job Description STRATEGIC STAFFING SOLUTIONS (S3) HAS AN OPENING. IT Project Manager (Healthcare IT) Detroit, MI / Remote in EST/CST 6-12+ Months W2 Contract role Job Description: We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with the following experience: Infrastructure modernization and lifecycle projects Delivery of Cybersecurity projects involving Identify Access Management Background in healthcare IT and a strong understanding of hospital systems to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, particularly in the healthcare sector, and be adept at managing complex IT projects including the dispositioning of a large number of applications.

This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare informatics, workflow management, and the ability to bridge the gap between product management and merger teams. Key Responsibilities: Manage the disposition of approximately 400 applications, including roadmap development, data capture, and identification of roadblocks for migrating applications to the client's domain. Understand and define the scope of application migrations, including dependencies and integrations with critical systems such as billing.

Serve as the primary liaison between the product management group and the mergers team, facilitating communication and ensuring that product managers, who may lack technical expertise, are well-informed about project developments. Lead and manage multiple ongoing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Utilize your background in informatics to understand healthcare workflows, ask pertinent questions, and drive project success.

Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, risk assessments, and project plans. Qualifications: Minimum of 2+ years of IT project management experience, with a strong emphasis on healthcare IT. Proven experience in managing IT projects related to mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry.

Strong background in healthcare informatics and understanding of hospital workflows. Ability to understand and manage technical aspects of IT projects, even if the product management team does not possess deep technical expertise. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills with a track record of successfully managing complex IT projects.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field is preferred. *Beware of scams. S3 never asks for money during its onboarding process.
