Located in Jersey City, New Jersey, our organization is highly regarded in the community for our holistic approach to therapy. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment that prioritizes the well-being of both our clients and our team members. Our mission is not only to provide exceptional care but also to empower individuals on their path toward mental wellness, personal growth, and community engagement.

Work Environment

The position offers a fully remote work setting, allowing our therapists to conduct sessions via secure telehealth platforms. We provide all necessary technological tools to ensure that you can deliver the best possible care while working from a location that suits you. The role involves structured interactions through video consultations, as well as collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Our inclusive workplace culture encourages ongoing training and professional development, which promotes employee satisfaction and longevity in the field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, allowing for personalized treatment approaches.
  • Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs and aspirations, ensuring tailored interventions.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate emotional healing and coping strategies.
  • Educate clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care techniques, fostering an environment of understanding and support.
  • Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to respond to their evolving needs and improve outcomes.
  • Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, thereby addressing both mental and physical health aspects.
  • Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously enhance therapeutic practices and interventions.
  • Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in case consultations and team meetings to promote knowledge sharing and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Advocate for clients within the mental health system, addressing stigma and ensuring their needs are met with compassion and understanding.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on working with clients facing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and related conditions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and they seek support in navigating their challenges. As a therapist at In-Health Therapy Services, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe environment where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to pursue their mental wellness journey.

Qualifications
  • A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build trust and rapport with clients effectively.
  • Empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach are essential in addressing clients' experiences and challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities to prioritize client needs and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, addiction, or trauma-related issues is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy practices will enhance your effectiveness in this remote setting.
  • Continuous professional development in relevant therapeutic modalities (like CBT or DBT) will be beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • We offer an extensive benefits package, including paid time off, a retirement savings plan, and comprehensive health insurance.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and professional growth, particularly within addiction counseling and integrated care practices.
  • A supportive and friendly work environment with a focus on collaboration and peer mentorship.
Career Growth Opportunities

At In-Health Therapy Services, we are dedicated to the professional development of our team members. You will have access to numerous training sessions, workshops, and resources to enhance your skills and knowledge. As you grow within your role, you may have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities or specialize in areas such as addiction treatment or advanced therapeutic modalities.
