Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while continuing to make a significant impact in the lives of those we serve. As an outpatient counselor at our Detox Center, you will primarily collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, liaising with medical professionals and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
  • Provide individual and couples therapy, employing evidence-based practices to facilitate significant therapeutic progress.
  • Coordinate ongoing case management services, ensuring that clients receive the diverse support they need throughout their treatment journey.
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment sessions, and progress updates using our electronic health record system.
  • Schedule and manage client appointments, maintaining an organized calendar to optimize therapy sessions and follow-ups.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare providers within the Detox Center, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role includes serving youth, adults, and families who are navigating the complexities of substance use disorders and mental health challenges. You will address a variety of clinical presentations and demographics, ensuring equitable care and support tailored to each client's unique needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current State license to practice as a clinical social worker.
  • A minimum of four years of practical clinical experience, which may include two years post-graduate experience or relevant masters-level practicum work.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in outpatient counseling settings, particularly in addressing substance use and mental health issues.
  • Familiarity with case management best practices and multidisciplinary teamwork in healthcare environments.
  • Proficient in electronic health record systems and billing processes related to mental health services.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is between USD 75,000 and 95,000 plus additional bonuses based on performance. We offer a competitive benefits package which includes:
