Overview

Based in St. Louis, Core & Main is a leading distributor of water, sewer, storm drain and fire protection products in the United States. Operating approximately 320 branches nationwide, the company combines local expertise with a national supply chain to provide contractors and municipalities with innovative solutions for new construction and aging infrastructure. This is a remote position for Core & Main representing the Core & Main Damage Prevention group and driving our inspection and CCTV business growth in the state of California. We have an inspection service center in Fresno, CA that will support this business growth.

Job Description

Provide product sales, hands-on demonstrations, product application training, and ongoing support to a mature customer base of municipalities, inspection utility companies and utility contractors to increase market share and expand the customer base in the area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Focus on selling wastewater, inspection, CCTV cameras and trucks used for underground wastewater and water system inspection.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitiveactivities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Continuously improve through feedback

Preferably, YOUhave:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Representative with a proven track record - (2-3 years)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage their own schedule
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Travel within the California region outlined above to visit with customers. Occasional overnights will be necessary
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience's needs
  • Support co-workers as needed
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • MS Office literacy
  • Ability to provide equipment demonstrations
  • Forecast sales opportunities in a structured and efficient manner

Pay: $90,000-100,000 base salary plus commissions=Total comp of 150K-170K plus company vehicle
