As HousingWire continues to expand its data and subscription offerings while growing its media and events businesses, we are seeking a Marketing Manager to serve as a strategic marketing partner to the revenue organization.


Position Overview

The Marketing Manager helps bring products and initiatives to market, develop compelling positioning and messaging, equip sales teams to succeed, and execute programs that support business growth.


This role is responsible for helping generate demand and accelerate revenue growth through a combination of go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, content marketing, and lead generation programs.


This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and marketing and serves as a strategic partner to the revenue organization. At HousingWire, titles matter less than outcomes. We're looking for a builder who enjoys solving problems, turning ideas into action, and helping commercial teams win.


The Marketing Manager position will report directly to the Vice President of Audience & Growth.


What You'll Own

  • Develop go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging that support the growth of HousingWire's data, group subscriptions, media, and event businesses.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives, including the expansion of HW Data through channels such as Snowflake.
  • Create sales tools that help sales teams communicate customer outcomes and business value.
    • Media Guide/Media Kit--annual build, monthly updates
    • Event sponsorship guides--frequent updates
    • Sales pitch decks
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify opportunities, strengthen customer messaging, and support enterprise growth efforts.
  • Plan and execute product launches, market announcements, customer communications, and other revenue-driving initiatives.
  • Create customer stories, thought leadership, research assets, sales collateral, and lead-generation content that supports both brand awareness and pipeline growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and positioning.


What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, product marketing, sales enablement, revenue marketing, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and sales support.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to create customer-facing and sales-facing content that drives business results.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and move initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, product, and executive stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and modern marketing technologies.
  • Experience in housing, real estate, financial services, SaaS, data, information services, or related industries is a plus.
