This is your chance to be part of a premium marine service operation that's growing fast in one of America's most active boating markets. As a Contract Marine Technician with Full Throttle Marine, you'll execute high-quality service calls across the Tampa Bay corridor—working independently, managing your own schedule, and building a reputation for excellence with discerning boat owners.

  • Execute winterization and spring commissioning procedures with precision and professionalism
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in the field, leveraging your expertise to solve problems efficiently
  • Support premium detailing services as needed, maintaining our high-quality brand standard
  • Complete photo documentation and digital service reports after every job—clean, professional, and transparent
  • Represent the Full Throttle Marine brand with pride: uniformed, punctual, prepared, and customer-focused
  • Communicate clearly with our operations team on parts needs, scheduling updates, and job status
  • Build relationships with premium boat owners who value quality work and professional service

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience servicing outboard engines
  • Strong working knowledge of Yamaha and/or Mercury outboard systems
  • Reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting tools and equipment to job sites
  • Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple daily service calls
  • Professional appearance and strong customer-facing communication skills
  • Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
  • Appropriate liability coverage (must carry or be willing to obtain)
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with both 2-stroke and 4-stroke outboard platforms
  • Familiarity with marine electrical systems, fuel delivery, and trim/tilt systems
  • Experience working from a service skiff or dockside (water-side access preferred for some locations)
  • Prior mobile service or field service experience
  • Experience serving high-net-worth clientele or premium service markets
