Job description

Job Announcement The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Visual Arts Specialist (full-time, temporary with benefits). This position serves at the discretion of the department director. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional work on Mondays during install.

Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler. Why work for Chandler. The City of Chandler Cultural Development Department showcases destination drivers in Chandler through the Chandler Center for the Arts, Chandler Museum, Downtown, Public Art, Special Events, Connection and Impact, and Vision Gallery. Who we are looking for Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with experience working customer service in a gallery or non-profit retail setting.

Minimum qualifications A High School Diploma or GED; and 2 years of experience in customer service in a gallery or non-profit retail arts setting; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
