BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Call Center Representative for an opportunity!


Job Title: Call Center Representative (Technical Support)


Location: Remote


Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)


Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Job Type: Contract


Pay Rate: $14/hr

(Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).


Work Schedule:

Must be available to work Monday through Friday, with shifts ranging between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Central Time.

Job Description

We are seeking a Call Center Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, call handling, and help desk software and a proven ability to resolve basic inquiries, document interactions, and route requests accurately.


Responsibilities:

Answer telephones and respond to basic customer questions using established methods provided in training. Forward calls to appropriate personnel as needed.

Record calls in account history with inquiry results and initiate required confirmations.

Process customer requests by sending faxes, returning telephone messages, sending mail documents, or using other related communication under direct supervision.

Use help desk software and telephone technology to log, track, and resolve tickets per procedure.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

One or more years of customer service or other telephone experience.

Experience working with organizational functions and personnel.

Proficiency with computer software and telephone technology.

Skilled in the use of help desk software, including experience with a Technical Help Desk.


Preferred Skills:

Basic business and analytical problem-solving skills.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to follow oral and written directions.
