Are you a born hunter with a passion for opening doors, shaping markets, and launching innovative services? Do you thrive on consultative selling, building strategic relationships, and introducing clients to transformational new ways of working? If so, this is your opportunity to lead the market introduction of BSI's pioneering new platform: MESH - Mapping, Evaluation, Strategy, Harmonization
BSI's Consulting Services Team is launching a first-of-its-kind approach to holistic, tech-enabled supply chain risk management. As our Senior Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront-bringing this groundbreaking capability to organisations with complex, multi-tiered supply chains and helping them re-imagine how they manage risk in a rapidly evolving world.
What You'll Do
As a senior member of our business development team, you will:

  • Drive market adoption of MESH by articulating its unique value-combining consulting, auditing, analytics, and technology into one integrated solution.
  • Collaborate with leading subject matter experts, engaging them early to design precise, client-specific solutions that tackle regulatory, ESG, cyber, continuity, and operational supply chain risks.
  • Consult deeply with clients, uncovering needs and co-creating bespoke MESH solutions that deliver real resilience and competitive advantage.
  • Negotiate and close strategic deals, ensuring commercial terms reflect the value and innovation BSI brings.
  • Partner with delivery teams to ensure seamless handover and exceptional implementation experiences.
  • Shape strategy, working closely with MESH leadership to refine our go-to-market approach and contribute to our long-term growth vision.
  • Champion thought leadership, networking and positioning BSI as the partner of choice in supply chain risk transformation.
What You Bring You're a true business development professional with the mindset of a hunter and the credibility of a consultant. You have:
  • A proven track record in selling new services-ideally in supply chain, risk, compliance, or consulting.
  • Exceptional prospecting, questioning, and solution-selling abilities.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain risk challenges, from regulatory shifts to cybersecurity and ESG.
  • Outstanding negotiation and contracting experience.
  • The ability to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial, self-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in one or more priority sectors (Pharma, ICT, Retail, Manufacturing).
  • Exposure to technology-enabled service platforms or new solution launches
