Account Executive – Industrial Technology (Midwest)
Full-Time | Remote Home Office | High Regional Travel
We’ve been engaged by a fast-growing industrial technology company to recruit a motivated Account Executive to support expansion across the Midwest. This role is ideal for someone who understands plant operations, equipment-heavy environments, and the value of data-driven tools used in modern manufacturing.
If you have experience selling into industrial or manufacturing facilities and enjoy working directly with operations, maintenance, engineering and plant leadership, this could be an excellent next step.

Responsibilities
- Prospect and build new business across manufacturing and industrial environments
- Establish and grow relationships with operations, engineering, maintenance and plant leaders
- Conduct discovery discussions and present tailored solutions based on customer needs
- Guide prospects through evaluations and support the full sales cycle from outreach to close
- Coordinate with internal product and technical teams as needed during the sales process
- Visit customer sites to understand equipment, workflows and operational challenges
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, forecasting and CRM documentation
- Represent modern industrial solutions designed to improve plant performance and decision-making
Qualifications
- Experience selling into manufacturing or industrial plants required
- Background in industrial technology, sensors, automation, analytics, reliability tools or similar strongly preferred
- Proven success owning the full sales cycle, including prospecting and closing
- Comfortable with heavy regional travel and working independently in a home-office environment
- Ability to simplify technical concepts and engage multiple stakeholders inside a plant
- Strong drive, curiosity and a willingness to learn new technical capabilities
