Responsible for performing all proper and necessary actions to ensure the timely and accurate reimbursement of governmental insurance accounts assigned. Effectively works assigned portfolio to maximize reimbursement potential and attain assigned collection goals. Contacts insurance companies and governmental payers to verify COB and eligibility. Communicates billing and or adjustment activities with Governmental program billers. Estimated pay range for this position is $20.62 - $26.19 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:

  • Experience in billing and business office functions to include collections, refunds, payment remittance advices from Government programs required.
  • Must work well independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to communicate with Medicare & Medicaid fiscal intermediary, external and internal contacts to resolve accounts timely.
  • Have excellent written and interpersonal skills ; be detailed oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Complete knowledge of government regulations including UB04 ;1500 claim form requirements ; MN and CCI.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum Required Experience: 4 YearsDegrees:
