Summary
About the Position: This position is located at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a standard 40-hour workweek. Work is typically performed Monday through Friday (e.g. 0730 to 1600 or 0800 to 1630)
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Help
  • Compile, consolidate, review, analyze, and submit all finalized Medical Expense and Performance Report System (MEPRS) reports for the organization.
  • Collaborate with operating officials and supervisory personnel to resolve operational deficiencies, obtain accurate workload reports, and to improve the overall quality of data output resulting from the MEPRS.
  • Develop creditable workload factors and accurate statistical indicators to assist with analyzing trends in workload reporting and cost data.
  • Conduct investigative techniques in reviewing records, files and instructions to identify relevant information.

  • This position has been designated Mission Essential. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • Position is designated as Inclement Weather Essential. The incumbent must make every attempt to report for work on time and/or remain on duty during severe weather conditions.
  • You may be authorized to Telework on a Situational basis.
  • Financial Management Certification level 1-obtain within 2 years and CE to retain every 2 years

Qualifications
Who May Apply: US Citizens
In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Requirements for GS-11Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting analysis of medical treatment facility activity workload and expense distribution problems; analyzing data in Medical Expense and Performance Reporting Systems (MEPRS) to assist with recording and reporting; and utilizing automated databases to compile financial and statistical data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Statistics, Business Administration, Economics.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
