Job description
Job Duties:
- Accurately schedule onsite radiologist shifts using QGenda.
- Coordinate neighboring physician coverage and remote contrast assignments.
- Distribute remote diagnostic mammography sites and assign PM coverage as needed.
- Adjust schedules promptly to reflect last-minute changes.
- Assign cases to the appropriate radiologist based on specialty.
- Field calls and messages from radiologists to assist with daily workflow.
- Respond to internal staff inquiries to facilitate report completion and case assignment.
- Assist with imaging assignment duties during call-outs or short staffing.
- Provide back-up training for new hire radiologists when primary trainer is unavailable.
- Solve first-level IT issues and escalate as needed.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required. Degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Technology, Health Information Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in scheduling and/or customer service
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication.
- Technical troubleshooting and first-level IT support.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- A high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 5 Mbps.
- Internet service must be reliable and consistent, capable of supporting video conferencing, remote desktop access, and secure data transmission.
