Job description

SMIL is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained MSK Radiologist to join their well-established, multi-specialty practice in Scottsdale, AZ. This role involves a majority of work in MSK, with a minimum of 80% dedicated to this subspecialty. The successful candidate will contribute to the continued growth of a high-volume orthopedic imaging service and perform imaging-guided MSK procedures.

Practice Info

  • Locally-managed AI-enabled IT Platform with 24x7 IT support and a dedicated communications team, which includes Radiologist Support Coordinators (RSCs)
  • PowerScribe, InteleRad, and Epic support an efficient, connected workflow across reporting, imaging, and clinical systems
  • Southwest Medical Imaging (SMIL) is a 70+ highly subspecialized radiology practice based in Scottsdale, AZ
  • Owns and operates nearly 20 outpatient imaging centers in the Valley
  • Serves a healthcare network consisting of 6 hospitals
  • Has own resources dedicated to providing immediate IT and communications support to physicians, imaging centers, and hospital system

Responsibilities

  • Work to be in MSK (minimum 80%)
  • Contribute to continued growth of an excellent high volume orthopedic imaging service
  • Perform imaging-guided MSK procedures
  • No Mammography, Nuclear Medicine or Interventional Radiology responsibility
  • Shift assignment, call responsibility, and vacation allotment are all shared equally

Compensation

  • Salary plus comprehensive benefit package - base salary plus productivity bonuses
  • Partnership track + additional shareholder opportunity with the physician owned SMIL Outpatient Imaging Centers
  • Internal moonlighting opportunities available
  • The salary range for this position is $500,000-$600,000
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
