Job description

Join a well-established private practice serving the Abrazo health system in Phoenix, AZ, as a Diagnostic Radiologist. This full-time position offers a no-call schedule with significant flexibility, allowing for either onsite or remote work. Physicians will read a broad and clinically rich case mix across 9 Abrazo facilities, with earning potential approaching $1M annually. This is an excellent opportunity for radiologists seeking a high-volume practice without the burden of nights or weekends.

Practice Info

  • Established private practice embedded within a major integrated health system
  • Coverage across 9 Abrazo facilities: 6 hospitals, 2 free-standing emergency centers, and 1 micro-hospital, including a Level I Trauma Center
  • Broad subspecialty case mix reflective of a large, integrated system with a Level I Trauma Center
  • 24/7 reading room and IT support
  • Sectra PACS - Powerscribe 1
  • Modern imaging infrastructure across all 9 facilities

Responsibilities

  • Read for a broad, clinically rich case mix across 9 Abrazo facilities
  • Perform general diagnostic radiology across a multi-facility environment

Compensation

  • Compensation structured well above the 90th percentile by wRVU
  • Expected annual earnings approaching $1M for physicians working at full volume
  • Flexible volumes with up to 13 wRVUs per hour if desired
  • Sign-on bonus offered
  • Relocation bonus offered

Benefits

  • Generous 12 weeks of PTO per year

Shift & Schedule

  • No nights, no weekends, no call
  • Daytime hours only: approximately 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. AZ time
  • Approximately 40-42 weeks of daytime coverage per year; specific weeks determined by mutual agreement
  • Maximum schedule flexibility with no geographic limitations for remote position

Requirements

  • MD or DO with ABR board certification or board eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain
  • Comfortable with general diagnostic radiology across a multi-facility environment
  • Teleradiology candidates should have a suitable home reading environment
