The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Account Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of luxury engagement. This role is crafted for a strategic thinker who believes data should inform creativitynot limit it. You'll be responsible fordeveloping and leading integrated communications strategies that connect media and high-value audiences with our destination clients. You'll work alongside passionate strategists, creatives, and data specialists to deliver campaigns that are as effective as they are elegant.

What You'll Do

Our Senior Account Supervisors are account leaders and responsible for spearheading client success and satisfaction. You'll manage a team of 3-4 team members to drive results across a portfolio of destination accounts, with a current focus based in LATAM. Job responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic direction to clients and team
  • Responsible for client satisfaction and meeting/exceeding deliverable goals
  • Maintain client relationships through meetings, in-person travel/events, conference calls, general contact, meeting agendas, notes, reports, etc.
  • Oversee account work for 3-4 team members (ranging from account coordinators to senior account executive), providing training, coaching, editing, mentoring and overall sound leadership
  • Provide strategic, strong and consistent media results and measurement
  • Support crisis communications, as needed
  • Identify stories and pitches; edit and write press releases, media alerts, photo captions, media pitches, etc.
  • Develop and maintain solid relationships with journalists, bloggers and influencers
  • Provide ideation and campaigns; participate in brainstorms
  • Recommend, source and implement strategic events and partnerships
  • Provide influencer strategy, advice, research, campaign ideas and provide and/or supervise communications management
  • Recognize and bring client issues to supervisor's attention with a suggested solution
  • Handle minor client issues independently
  • Perform research and analysis of clients and the marketplace
  • Oversee detail-oriented monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Stay on top of current industry news, trends and technology; attend events; network

Who You Are

  • Six to seven years work experience in travel/lifestyle PR; destination PR experience and agency experience is preferred
  • Minimum one year in a supervisory capacity managing at least 2 junior team members
  • Proficiency/fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced, multi-tasking, unique work environment
  • You're a self-starter with a proven ability to lead a team and work well independently
  • You have experience resolving client issues quickly and efficiently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding team player with a positive attitude
  • Experience launching campaigns with non-client partners
  • You have a solid portfolio of secured media coverage (national, magazine, newspaper, TV and digital wins)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry + media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers
  • Proven experience handling crisis a plus
  • Proficiency in reporting platforms (Muck Rack, Meltwater, Tagger)
