Your role
Job Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting Nitrogen Generation Systems at customer sites. The role requires strong technical knowledge of high-pressure gas systems, pneumatics, and air compressors. The technician must ensure high-quality service delivery, adhere to preventive maintenance schedules, and manage parts inventory efficiently. This position involves extensive travel within the U.S. and occasional international travel, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, commission, and troubleshoot Nitrogen Generation Systems andrelated machinery.
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and testing, recording quality checks per established procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues, including working with control systems, I/O modules, servo amplifiers, and electrical components.
  • Provide basic operational and safety guidance to customers regarding nitrogen systems.
  • Complete detailed service reports for each job performed.
  • Manage parts inventory and ensure proper documentation of all service activities.
  • Work at customer locations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
To succeed, you will need
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience field service of large machinery, machine tool installation, repair or preventative maintenance.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and CAD drawings.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically from Monday through Friday, including overnight stays within the U.S., with occasional international travel when required.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
    Physical Requirements:
  • Capable of lifting and carrying parts or equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
  • Able to perform tasks in confined spaces and in various environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, varying temperatures, exposure to dust/noise).
  • Extended periods of physical activity during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Must wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, harnesses) as required.
  • Ability to work safely in potentially hazardous environments, including electrical hazards and moving machinery
  • This position requires that you reside within reasonable commute (within 30 minutes to one hour) of the assigned territory. Proof of residency will be required.
  • The position requires that you must be able to park a company issued, branded service vehicle at your place of residence without any restrictions.
