• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of patients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions.
• Apply solution-focused therapeutic techniques during therapy sessions, adjusting approaches as required to meet the diverse needs of each patient.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical records while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding patient confidentiality and data security.
• Engage in regular consultations with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, and other health professionals to ensure cohesive and integrated patient care.
• Participate in case consultation and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing treatment methodologies and patient outcomes.
• Provide education and emotional support not only to patients but also to their families, helping them navigate the complexities of end-of-life decision-making.
• Stay abreast of current research and developments in social work and psychotherapeutic practices to enhance the quality of care provided.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families, addressing mental health challenges associated with grief, loss, and the psychological impacts of end-of-life transitions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients find peace and comfort during this critical stage of life, empowering them to achieve their emotional and psychological goals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license issued in the state of Tennessee.
• At least three years of clinical experience with a focus on psychotherapy, particularly with terminally ill patients.
• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapeutic methodologies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

• Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly valued.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions accurately.
