• Utilize advanced crisis de-escalation techniques to support clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment as the Clinician of the Day.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop safety plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
• Document all client interactions and care provided on the same day to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Complete critical incident reports within 24 hours when circumstances require it.
• Take part in an alternating after-hours phone support system to coordinate care and assist clients needing urgent assistance.

As a Remote Licensed Counselor, you will primarily work with a diverse population requiring mental health support. Your clients may experience anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health challenges. Your role is integral in helping them navigate these issues by providing empathetic listening, therapeutic guidance, and resources. Your expertise will assist clients in creating personalized plans that align with their goals, enabling them to thrive within their communities.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proficient in prioritizing tasks and effectively delegating responsibilities to maintain high-quality services in a high-volume caseload setting.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others while exhibiting enthusiasm for client care.
• Strong clinical skills for establishing rapport with clients and facilitating trust and open communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen ability to interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders effectively.

• Prior telehealth counseling experience is advantageous, as it equips candidates to effectively engage clients through virtual platforms.
• Experience working with specific populations such as adolescents, families, or individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions efficiently.
