This position is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still engaging in collaborative efforts with our multidisciplinary teams through virtual meetings and consultations. While a large portion of your work will be conducted remotely, you will also have the opportunity to meet clients in our outpatient office setting as needed. • Provide personalized and effective therapeutic strategies tailored to the unique needs of each client, conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring the confidentiality and security of client information.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, seminars, and peer supervision to stay informed on the latest trends and research in mental health.

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at the Neurocognitive Mental Health Center, you will work with diverse client populations, including individuals and families who may face barriers to accessing mental health care. You will engage with clients experiencing a range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship challenges. Your role as a counselor will be pivotal in providing support, guidance, and effective coping strategies to empower clients on their journey towards improved mental health.

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active, unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Washington.
• Minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and related technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance abuse treatment is highly preferable.
• Experience utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities to suit the specific needs of clients.
