• Build trusting relationships with students by creating a safe and welcoming virtual space where they can express their thoughts and feelings.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the needs of students, assisting them in overcoming personal challenges and achieving academic and emotional goals.
• Engage in active listening and demonstrate empathy to ensure students feel valued and understood, facilitating significant conversations that lead to healing.
• Coordinate with teachers and school staff to develop comprehensive care strategies that support students' mental health and academic performance.
• Participate in regular supervision and peer discussions to enhance your therapeutic skills and receive support from fellow counselors.

In this role, you will primarily work with students ranging from preschool to high school age, addressing various mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your contributions will not only assist individual clients but will also promote a healthier school environment, fostering resilience and emotional intelligence among young learners.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Demonstrated experience of at least two years as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, with five years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in both oral and written communication are essential for effective engagement with students, parents, and educational staff.
• Familiarity with digital tools such as MS Word, Excel, and secure telehealth platforms to maintain communication and documentation.

• Experience working in school environments or with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting is highly desirable.
