Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from anywhere, ensuring you maintain a healthy balance between your personal and professional life. During standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will connect with clients through secure online platforms. Our outpatient facility originates from Alexandria, Virginia, providing a supportive framework where collaboration and teamwork thrive.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities encapsulate the core of therapeutic practice:

  • Conduct virtual therapy sessions, leveraging video conferencing tools to effectively support clients’ mental health needs.
  • Establish a safe and trusting therapeutic environment, encouraging clients to openly share their experiences and emotions.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to set, track, and accomplish their personalized goals.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
  • Current licensure to practice independently as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proven experience in providing therapy and developing treatment plans, highlighted by a passion for mental health resilience and recovery.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with clients in virtual settings.
  • Proficiency with online therapy tools and digital platforms, enhancing clients' access to services.
Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
