Molina Healthcare & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a balance between professional and personal life. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will engage with clients through virtual sessions, ensuring they receive the necessary support from the comfort of their own homes. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality mental health care, which includes:

• Assisting primary care providers in identifying, treating, and managing the mental health and psychosocial issues of patients as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Conducting thorough patient intakes to perform diagnostic and functional evaluations, and subsequently making informed recommendations regarding treatment goals and plans.
• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions for patients presenting with mental health concerns.
• Guiding primary care providers on the appropriateness of retaining patients within the primary care setting versus referring them to specialized mental health facilities.
• Following up with patients to assess their progress, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Creating relapse prevention plans and supporting patients in achieving stable functioning.
• Identifying at-risk patients and implementing preventive measures to address their mental health needs.
• Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate treatment records in compliance with clinical guidelines.
• Educating patients on self-management techniques and lifestyle choices conducive to better mental health.
• Collaborating with clinic management and team members to assess the effectiveness of behavioral services offered and proposing areas for program enhancement.

Your work will primarily address a diverse population, encompassing various demographics and backgrounds. Patients may present with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and other psychosocial stressors. You will be tasked with delivering culturally competent care to ensure that every patient feels valued and understood during their therapeutic journey.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) license.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health assessment methodologies, treatment planning, psychopathology, and psychotherapeutic techniques.
• Proficient knowledge of community mental health resources and the impact of mental health disorders on individuals and families.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships with fellow professionals, patients, and community stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills coupled with the ability to manage clinical records effectively.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish, enabling the provision of services to a wider array of patients.
• Experience in telehealth service delivery, which enhances your adaptability to virtual platforms.
• A background in community outreach or working within Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) is advantageous.

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
