Position Summary

The Manager of Data Analytics and Reporting is responsible for leading Gifthealth's data analytics function, owning the end-to-end strategy, team development, and delivery of reporting and insights that drive business decisions. The ideal candidate has deep experience in SQL and BI tools like Looker and Metabase, a track record of managing analysts or engineers, and the ability to translate complex data questions into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders across the organization."


Key Responsibilities  
  • Lead and develop a team of data analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and
  • continuous improvement
  • Own the end-to-end strategy, development, and quality of the analytics and reporting function
  • Partner with engineering, product, and clinical leadership to translate complex business
  • questions into actionable insights
  • Drive adoption of self-serve reporting tools and ensure stakeholders can make confident, data
  • Define and enforce data governance standards for metrics, dashboards, and reporting pipelines
  • Facilitate roadmap planning and prioritization for the analytics team
  • Ensure compliance and confidentiality of Personal Health Information (PHI) across all reporting surfaces
Qualifications
  • Education: BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or comparable quantitative field and relevant work experience in analytics or data engineering, with demonstrated leadership
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering and 2+ years of experience managing or leading a team of analysts or engineers
  • Skills:  
  • Deep proficiency with SQL, Python, and BI tools (we use Looker and Metabase)
  • Experience with dbt, data warehouse design, and modern analytics engineering practices
  • Strong communication skills - you can translate data complexity into clear narratives for non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive approach to building systems and processes that scale
  • Experience in healthcare analytics or regulated data environments preferred
  • An excitement about learning healthcare and the pharmacy space from a unique vantage point
