Position Overview

Thought Matters, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida. This full-time, remote role offers mental health professionals the opportunity to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions while focusing on clinical outcomes rather than client quotas. With a commitment to innovation in mental health care, you will be empowered to practice therapy efficiently and effectively.

About the Organization

Thought Matters, LLC is a respected mental health service provider specializing in evidence-based therapy and holistic patient care. Our mission is to improve the lives of adults struggling with mental health issues by providing personalized, efficient, and modern therapeutic services. We prioritize clinical excellence, support our therapists with advanced operational systems, and create an environment where mental health professionals can thrive without the burden of unnecessary administrative tasks.

Work Environment

As a remote therapist at Thought Matters, you will work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients through secure video conferencing. Our outpatient office setting allows you to maintain a collaborative culture with peers and supervisors via regular virtual consultations. You can expect a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no after-hours expectations. We ensure that all therapists can focus on their clients and enhance their clinical skills without the hassle of chasing down paperwork or managing billing and scheduling tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct video-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) sessions with adult clients, tailoring interventions to meet individual therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize an efficient Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to track client progress, document sessions, and set actionable objectives.
  • Participate in regular peer consultations and receive opportunities for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to enhance professional development and clinical skills.
  • Eliminate administrative burdens by allowing our operations team to manage billing, scheduling, and other logistical tasks, enabling you to concentrate fully on client interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse clientele of adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Your clients may include individuals dealing with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health conditions. By leveraging your clinical expertise in CBT or related modalities, you will help clients develop coping strategies, improve their mental well-being, and achieve their personal treatment goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or closely related field.
  • Current licensure in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in independent clinical practice.
  • A solid foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or similar therapeutic approaches.
  • Proficiency in using technology relevant to mental health treatment, including teletherapy platforms and EMR systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with adult populations in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with integrated care approaches and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet therapeutic goals and client satisfaction metrics.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer comprehensive health benefits, generous paid time off (PTO), and a 401(k) retirement plan. Alongside these financial benefits, we also provide opportunities for ongoing professional development, ensuring our team is well-equipped to provide the best care possible.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Thought Matters, we believe in the continuous growth of our therapists. As you excel in your role, you will have the chance to take on leadership responsibilities, mentor new therapists, and participate in specialized training programs. Our supportive environment fosters not only clinical excellence but also the personal growth of each team member.
