Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing our therapists to work from the comfort of their own homes while accessing a state-of-the-art telehealth platform. Thought Matters, LLC provides a fully equipped electronic medical record (EMR) system, minimizing administrative burdens and allowing you to focus solely on your clients’ mental health needs. You will be supported by an experienced operations team that handles billing, scheduling, and technical glitches, granting you more time for meaningful client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular video therapy sessions with adult clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to address various mental health issues.
• Utilize our streamlined EMR system to effectively document client progress, track goals, and facilitate continuity of care.
• Engage in regular peer consultations to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback on therapeutic approaches.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to further hone your skills and stay current in the ever-evolving field of mental health.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, utilizing active listening and empathy to promote positive therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals in a virtual setting to provide comprehensive care and referrals as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult clients facing a range of psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management. Our client-focused approach ensures that each individual's needs are addressed holistically, combining therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific circumstances with a focus on achieving measurable clinical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW license in Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in independent practice as a mental health counselor.
• Demonstrated expertise in CBT or similar therapeutic modalities, with the ability to adapt techniques based on individual client needs.
• Proficient in using technology for clinical practices, including familiarity with telehealth functions and EMR systems.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working remotely in a telehealth capacity is highly desirable.
• Previous work within diverse client populations, showcasing cultural competence and adaptability in therapy.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including participation in workshops and additional training programs.

Compensation and Benefits

Thought Matters, LLC offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 110,000 per year, complemented by performance bonuses based on clinical outcomes.
