Job Summary: Sparks Group has partnered with a growing insurance and financial services organization to identify a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support critical business operations. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and ensuring operational processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

The Operations Specialist will be responsible for processing a variety of operational documents, managing payment-related transactions, and supporting internal teams through accurate record maintenance and administrative processing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional quality and service.

Eligible Locations: Candidates must reside in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Massachusetts, or Tennessee.

Responsibilities
  • Process a variety of inbound and outbound operational documentation, including account updates, policy changes, returned mail, mortgage-related requests, appointments, and other administrative transactions.
  • Manage daily payment processing activities, including lockbox payments and declined payment resolution.
  • Process payment reversals, transfers, bank returns, and credit card adjustments with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Initiate ACH and credit card reversals in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Review documentation for completeness and accuracy while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely processing of operational requests.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and support day-to-day operational activities.
  • Identify process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Prioritize competing tasks while meeting established deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service through professional communication and follow-through.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in operations, administrative support, insurance, financial services, banking, mortgage, or a related field.
  • Experience processing high-volume transactions with exceptional accuracy.
