Work Environment

This remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while remaining fully integrated with our hospice team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Master Social Worker with Gotham Enterprises, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and financial needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices and tailored to individual client circumstances.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions such as CBT and DBT to support clients in coping with their challenges effectively.
• Maintaining accurate, comprehensive clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and comprehensive care tailored to individual patient needs.
• Participating in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to improve service quality and share knowledge.
• Providing education to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources.
• Staying current with developments in the field of mental health to integrate best practices into your work.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients in hospice care facing end-of-life issues, emotional distress, and complex family dynamics. Your expertise will help guide families through difficult choices and instill hope and support, aiding them in navigating their experiences with dignity and compassion.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating a solid educational foundation in social work principles.
• A valid License to practice as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State, confirming your qualifications and capability.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in social work, particularly within a healthcare or mental health setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with solution-focused psychotherapy techniques and a commitment to providing person-centered care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to establish effective therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex care situations and deliver impactful interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to maintain clinical documentation efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
