Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' needs and conditions upon initial intake, incorporating methodologies grounded in evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s journey, ensuring regular updates and modifications are made based on progress and feedback.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic interventions to facilitate positive mental health outcomes, encouraging clients to build coping strategies and resilience.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring that all documentation reflects accurate and up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of medical professionals, including addiction specialists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
• Research and stay abreast of the latest developments in social work and addiction treatment to enhance the efficacy of provided care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our detox center primarily serves individuals facing challenges related to substance abuse, alongside co-occurring mental health issues like anxiety, trauma, and depression. As an LCSW, you will support a diverse clientele, many of whom have historically underutilized mental health services. This role allows you to empower clients to reclaim their lives through restorative practices and supportive care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Kansas, with the ability to conduct remote therapy sessions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and active listening.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as CBT or DBT.

Compensation and Benefits
