• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients, incorporating pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.
• Complete all necessary documentation within required timelines to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as defined by the clinical team to assess patient needs effectively.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to client requirements.
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation procedures to uphold the integrity of our services.
• Act as a liaison among relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to build strong support networks for clients.
• Maintain open communication with clients and team members to fulfill contract expectations and promote our organizational mission.
• Develop connections with local, state, federal, and private organizations to further enhance our programs and secure new partnerships.
• Pursue opportunities for professional development through workshops, conferences, and networking events, representing the organization in various forums.
• Promote the values, philosophy, and mission of Metro West Behavioral Health in all professional interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director that align with organizational goals.

This position primarily serves a diverse population of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including those in recovery from substance use, experiencing developmental disabilities, or managing acquired brain injuries. As an LMHC, you will play a vital role in guiding your clients through their recovery journeys, fostering resilience, and encouraging community participation. • A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Current independent LMHC license is mandatory to practice in the state of Maryland.

• Experience in telehealth services and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems are highly desirable.
• Prior experience working in collaborative team environments and engaging with community partners enhances effectiveness in this role.
