Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate mental health counseling via secure video chat sessions, ensuring client confidentiality and comfort.
• Utilize solution-focused therapeutic modalities to develop personalized treatment plans that align with the needs and goals of clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify behavioral and emotional needs, crafting therapy goals that are both achievable and tailored to each individual.
• Encourage self-awareness and offer strategies for clients to better understand their emotions, experiences, and relationships.
• Track and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment plan, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to enhance coping skills and promote recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily support low-acuity adult clients facing manageable behavioral health concerns. This role is pivotal in helping individuals achieve their mental health objectives while nurturing a space that promotes healing and resilience. Our focus is on stability and personal growth, catering to a population that often has limited access to conventional therapy settings.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following credentials:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Current and valid license to practice in California, including any of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD).
• Independently licensed to practice without supervision and free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an inherently compassionate nature.
• Proficient with technology, including telehealth platforms, ensuring seamless client interactions.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection to support virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

While specific prior experience in a telehealth setting is not mandatory, familiarity with remote counseling practices or a demonstrated history of effective communication in virtual environments will be highly regarded. Experience in developing and modifying treatment plans to suit varied client needs is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually for full-time roles, with part-time positions available at approximately USD 65,000 per year based on hours worked.
