Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions through secure video chat platforms, utilizing your expertise to provide ethical and compassionate mental health support.
• Implement solution-focused therapeutic modalities to effectively address individual client needs and concerns.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients, ensuring that interventions are client-centered and goal-oriented.
• Guide clients in gaining insights into their emotions and relationships, fostering self-awareness and promoting emotional growth.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, reinforcing healthy coping strategies and behaviors.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present a range of mental health challenges. Your focus will be on empowering these individuals to enhance their quality of life through skill development, effective coping mechanisms, and emotional resilience. By providing tailored therapeutic interventions, you will play a key part in helping clients achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued license to independently practice mental health counseling (NO provisional licenses or disciplinary actions).
• Valid designations such as LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or Psychologist, along with a clear indication of your licensed state in your application.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a warm, empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Proficient computer literacy, with the ability to navigate telehealth platforms and maintain a reliable internet connection for virtual sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing telehealth services to clients, including familiarity with video conferencing tools.
• Background in treating diverse populations and understanding the unique challenges faced by veterans and their families.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and an ability to integrate them into treatment plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

• A competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, based on your working hours and experience.
