Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to understand each patient's unique mental health needs and establish a tailored treatment plan.
• Engage in active listening during patient consultations, providing a safe space for them to express their concerns and experiences.
• Diagnose mental and emotional disorders and develop structured coping strategies and treatment modalities tailored to individual patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving circumstances and goals.
• Educate patients and staff on stress management techniques and trauma-informed care principles, enhancing overall clinic awareness and capability.
• Coordinate with other medical and social services to ensure comprehensive care and resource availability for patients.
• Participate in regular continuing education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay current with advancements in mental health practices.
• Work actively to support community outreach initiatives, recognizing the need for mental health resources in underserved populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients who have experienced trauma, including those recovering from physical injuries and those facing emotional distress stemming from life events. We are committed to providing holistic treatment options that address both the psychological and physiological aspects of recovery, with a keen focus on fostering resilience and personal growth.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.
• A minimum of three years of experience in working with trauma-affected individuals or within a clinical mental health setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for effective documentation and communication.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate rapport with clients and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Salesforce is highly beneficial, enhancing our operational efficiency and patient tracking.
• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care practices, with the ability to implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
