Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions that employ a range of therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Implementing evidence-based behavioral strategies that track and promote measurable progress towards clients' therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of clinical interactions and client progress within electronic health record systems to ensure continuity of care.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health treatment and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients facing various personal challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. You will have the opportunity to provide therapy to individuals from different backgrounds and experiences, making your work both rewarding and impactful. Qualifications

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing mental health counseling in a professional setting.
• Exceptional skills in compassionate communication, active listening, and conflict resolution.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems; familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• Specialization or certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, couples counseling, or child and adolescent therapy.
• Experience working within community health settings or with underserved populations.
• Participation in peer supervision or leadership roles within therapeutic teams.
