In this remote role, you will join a collaborative outpatient office setting, where flexibility meets professionalism. Your work schedule will typically span Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some room for flexibility based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gather detailed information about patientsโ€™ histories, symptoms, and support systems, allowing for the development of tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to promote healing and recovery in individuals, couples, and families.
  • Lead and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that empower participants to share experiences and learn coping strategies in a safe and supportive environment.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure well-rounded patient care and timely interventions.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and strategies to clients experiencing mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources, fostering an understanding that can enhance recovery and community integration.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with applicable legal and ethical standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.
  • Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities to stay abreast of developments in the field.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT in the state of Maryland.
  • Deep knowledge of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting detailed mental health assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Proven competency in providing individual and group therapy to a variety of patient demographics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.
  • Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and related computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits
