We are hiring a Senior Systems Administrator for an exciting remote opportunity.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesEnsures the stable operation of DLA's computer software systems and network infrastructure by planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing network software and communication links. Analyzes and resolves end-user software and connectivity issues while providing technical support and user training. Recommends technology solutions and strategic direction to align IT capabilities with organizational objectives. Provides both local and remote maintenance support for operational systems deployed across multiple locations, including server and application maintenance, upgrades, and new installations. Applies advanced technical expertise in application networking, including load balancing and fault-tolerant system design, and performs vulnerability management to maintain system security and reliability. The position requires excellent customer service skills and technical ability. Experience operating in a Government or Military culture is preferred.
