Overview

We are seeking aMarketing Automation Super Adminto serve as the strategic owner and technical authority for ourAdobe Marketo Engageplatform and its surrounding ecosystem. Thismanager-level rolecombines advanced platform administration, system architecture, and functional consulting to ensure long-term platform stability, scalability, and governance.

The Super Admin operates within a complexB2B marketing and sales technology environment, partners closely with Salesforce and IT teams, leads a team of platform administrators, and serves as the primary escalation point withAdobe Marketo Support.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Strategy & Architecture

  • Own the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Marketo within the enterprise technology stack
  • Ensure platform scalability, performance, security, and governance
  • Define and enforce Marketo standards, order of operations, and best practices
  • Identify and address technical debt, platform risks, and architectural gaps

Advanced Administration & Functional Consulting

  • Design and implement advanced Marketo configurations beyond standard administration
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex platform issues and design decisions
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Marketo solutions
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Operations, IT, and Analytics on end-to-end lifecycle and automation initiatives
  • Advise stakeholders on platform capabilities, trade-offs, and best practices

Salesforce & Ecosystem Integration

  • Own and optimize the Marketo-Salesforce (SFDC) integration, including data synchronization, lifecycle logic, and field mappings
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators and IT teams on cross-platform initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between marketing automation and sales operations processes

Adobe Marketo Support & Technical Partnership

  • Act as the primary liaison with Adobe Marketo Support for escalated issues and complex defects
  • Manage the full lifecycle of support engagements, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Incorporate support learnings into platform standards and operational documentation

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Marketing Automation Platform Administrators
  • Establish and maintain platform documentation, standards, and operational playbooks
  • Review and approve complex builds to ensure architectural integrity

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 10+ years of hands-on Adobe Marketo experience in enterprise environments
  • Strong background in B2B marketing automation and complex lifecycle models
  • Proven experience as a senior Marketo administrator, business analyst, and functional consultant
  • Deep expertise in Marketo order of operations
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce integration and B2B data models
  • Experience working within large, multi-tool marketing technology ecosystems
